Oâ_Tahu Cemetery is unique in that it is owned by our Niche, Plot & Crypt owners. The Niche, Plot and Crypt owners essentially own both Oâ_Tahu Cemetery and Oâ_Tahu Mortuary. Oâ_Tahu Mortuary is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oâ_Tahu Cemetery. Oâ_Tahu Cemetery and Oâ_Tahu Mortuary are governed by our Volunteer Board of Trustees and Director respectively. Oâ_Tahu Mortuary is operated in support of Oâ_Tahu Cemetery. 100% of Oâ_Tahu Mortuaryâ_Ts net income flows to Oâ_Tahu Cemetery, a Non-Profit 501(c)(13) organization, in support of itâ_Ts two missions: 1. Maintain Historic Oâ_Tahu Cemetery in perpetuity for the benefit of its Plot, Niche and Crypt owners 2. Provide affordable end of life care to Hawaiiâ_Ts residents.
