FAMILIES PREFER EXPERIENCE OVER EXTRAVAGANCE

WHEELING, IL—Today, it is more important than ever to understand the wishes of the people arranging the funeral and help them plan personalized tributes that honor the life lived. Join Passages International and the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) Thursday, October 28 at 1:00pm CT for a free webinar on the modern funeral and what today’s families value in their end-of-life planning.

Many people are familiar with funerals steeped in tradition, religion and culture. But as more people report being less affiliated with religion and more likely to live apart from the hometown culture, many people are discovering what their tradition can be. So what are the experiences that families are seeking? More importantly, how can you cater to these families?

You know that families will have the service they want, with or without you. Multiple studies show that consumers are focused on life lived, not the body. The experience families are seeking is practical, transformative, participatory and valuable according to CANA Insights research. Participating in the service is also valuable and ensuring the service reflects the values of the deceased is important.

On Thursday, October 28, Passages President Darren Crouch will give you a look into modern rituals and how to bring value to families at a free webinar on these Modern Funerals. One hour of Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice approved CE will be available for those who attend live.

JSave your spot and register now for this free webinar on Thursday, October 28 at 1pm CT: goCANA.org/event/modernfuneralwebinar.
