WHEELING, IL—For many people, CANA’s 2020 Cremation Symposium would be the final in-person industry conference they attended for months. The Cremation Association of North America has held the Cremation Symposium each February in Las Vegas, Nevada for over 20 years. Now, after a brief interruption in 2021, CANA is excited to announce the Cremation Symposium is planned for February 9-11, 2022 at The LINQ Hotel + Experience in Las Vegas! The CANA Symposium is known for attracting some of the most innovative owners and managers in the profession. Packed into just a day and a half, the sessions bring a unique perspective to the business practices with professional event planners, innovative marketers, and those that ask the important questions. The participants are there to learn, but also to share their experiences and teach each other how to grow their businesses. The connections on the floor are just as valuable as the ideas from the stage. That experience is at the heart of what makes CANA’s Cremation Symposium special. In our time apart, we’ve all learned a lot and have stories to tell. Now, CANA invites everyone to share their stories of successful adaptation and struggles alike. The 2022 Cremation Symposium theme is story and CANA is rewriting the Cremation Symposium for today’s cremation professional. This February, the Symposium finds a new space and a new experience for these crucial conversations and connections you crave. Now that we can gather safely and enthusiastically, we want to make the most of it. The CANA Symposium has always been an intimate event, but for 2022 we are doubling down on the networking with more social events, long breaks and interactive sessions like Roundtables. Our emcee and presenters will embrace the Symposium's theme of storytelling—truly the best way to learn. They will have tips for engaging internal and external audiences, branding, and more to allow you the opportunity to practice and finetune your storytelling skills over a cocktail and in conversation. Plus, suppliers are untethered from booths to learn and connect with practitioners through sessions designed to support their business growth as well. Without an exhibit hall, extra attention is given to the networking component, with time devoted to work and play. Alongside practitioners, suppliers can craft their story and get feedback realtime from clients and prospective clients alike while conducting business without a booth between them. Mark your calendars for CANA’s 2022 Cremation Symposium: February 9-11, 2022. Registration opens on November 11, 2021 for attendees and suppliers with limited registrations available.
