Introducing CANA Education Online, a First-of-Its-Kind Industry Learning Tool

What:

During the 2016 Cremation Association of North America (CANA) Cremation Symposium held in Las Vegas February 2-4, CANA unveiled CANA Education Online, the industry’s first-of-its-kind learning tool.

This interactive system, available on phones, tablets and PCs, will enable industry professionals to obtain top-notch, quality online education while earning continuing education credits. Valuable topics include Cremation and the Environment, Phone Shoppers, Chain of Custody, Regulatory and Legal Issues, and more.

These cutting-edge courses, designed by industry experts, will keep users engaged through the use of interactions, case studies, scenarios, quizzes, and selected readings. As with online college courses, users will be required to complete all coursework and pass a final assessment to earn continuing education hours, and will have access to records and materials after completion. Designed to benefit professionals who are unable to attend in-person events, CANA Education Online will provide on-demand access to high-quality content via the web.

A code will be provided to interested members of media who wish to access CANA Education Online. Contact Jennifer Head (Jennifer@CremationAsssociation.org) for more information on CANA Education Online or Mackenzie Coopman (mcoopman@ksapr.com) to set up an interview.
