For funeral professionals, the accumulative impact of caring for others — while balancing the demands of a personal life — can surface in many ways: fatigue, grief, uncertainty, or quiet stress carried beneath the surface of daily work. The August Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting offers a dedicated hour for pause and release. Participants are invited to come exactly as they are, bringing whatever thoughts, emotions, or questions they have for that day. There is no expectation to prepare, share in a particular way, or have clarity about what you are feeling. Listening is as valued as speaking. Join Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT for a restorative peer-led space focused on connection, reflection, and mutual support within the realities of funeral service. Come with reflections on work, stressors that make work-life balance a challenge, and support for others’ experiences—and leave feeling less isolated and more connected to others who understand. This meeting is open to all who serve grieving families and communities, including students, apprentices, funeral directors, embalmers, crematory and cemetery professionals, transport and support staff, and others working in death care.
