May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to reduce stigma, foster connection, and remind one another that mental wellness is a shared responsibility. This year’s theme—“More Good Days, Together”—speaks to the power of community, reflection, and care in creating moments of steadiness and resilience. The May Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting invites participants to come together and reflect on wellbeing, purpose, and community. This gathering offers a supportive hour to reflect on what matters most, notice what has shifted, and consider what deserves renewed attention moving forward. Join us on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT for a restorative, peer-led gathering that honors Mental Health Awareness Month by centering shared experience, compassion, and community care. Peer support is not about productivity or problem-solving. It is about remembering you are not alone—and that care for others must include care for yourself. Each participant shapes the gathering simply by being present. This meeting is open to anyone who serves families and communities during times of loss, including students, apprentices, funeral directors, embalmers, crematory and cemetery professionals, operators, transport staff, administrative teams, and all who work in death care. Whether you are feeling steady, stretched thin, or somewhere in between, you are welcome.
