Managing Through Chaos With Glenda Stansbury
Virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting in June

WHEELING, IL — For funeral professionals, “hope for the best and prepare for the worst” is more than a motto – it’s a mantra for the most challenging days. But when everything feels like an uphill battle, how can we stay grounded? Glenda Stansbury facilitates a discussion for funeral professionals on managing through chaos at the virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 8pm ET / 7pm CT / 5pm PT, hosted for the profession by the Cremation Association of North America (CANA).

As a professional educator, Marketing & Development Director of InSight Books, and Co-Founder and Dean of InSight Institute Certified Celebrant Program, Glenda Stansbury is uniquely skilled in facilitating this peer support meeting on navigating uncertainty and finding resilience. “I just carry an aura of don’t mess with me, I guess,” says Glenda. She recalls a particular travel day filled with chaos. “I started to go up there to demand that they find a way to help all these people in a more efficient way. But then I looked at my shirt. I had worn my new t-shirt that has LOVE in big rainbow colors on the front. I was going to be out of town for the city PRIDE parade, so I just wore my shirt to show support. And I thought, I can’t go up there with my bitch face on with LOVE blazing across my chest. If I’m going to wear the word, perhaps I should live up to it.”

This peer support meeting is dedicated to navigating uncertainty and finding that inspiration to carry on. Participants will share their moments of chaos and ideas on how to stay grounded, make decisions under pressure, and build resilience when everything feels uncertain. Join to gain and share your practical strategies, candid insights, and space to reflect on what it really means to carry the weight of leadership in turbulent times.

When the burden of responsibility feels overwhelming, how do you avoid burnout while still showing up as an effective professional? Join the June conversation with Glenda Stansbury and fellow funeral professionals on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT / 5pm PT via Zoom link at cremationassociation.org/peersupport. No registration is required, simply follow the link to join.
