BROOKFIELD, WI—Underscoring its commitment to professional development for funeral service professionals and students, the Funeral Service Foundation is now accepting applications for CANA’s 107th Annual Cremation Innovation Convention. Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation is honored to offer 5 scholarships to the annual convention, held this year in Phoenix, AZ from August 6-8. Valued at $2,200, each scholarship will cover full convention registration fees, three nights of lodging, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement. Applications are open as of April 1 to licensed funeral service professionals, morticians, embalmers, crematory operators, cemeterians, and students of funeral service who plan to attend the 2025 CANA Convention. Application Details: Using a common application format, all scholarship candidates are required to answer four questions in no more than 250 words per question, and submit a brief video, no longer than two minutes. Late applications are not accepted. The deadline for applying is Thursday, May 29 at 11:59 p.m. CT. All applicants will be notified of their status by late June.
