FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Discounts on CANA’s Virtual Convention & Trade Show The Cremation Association of North America’s (CANA) 102nd Cremation Innovation Convention & Trade Show will soon spring to life on a virtual platform. For over 100 years, CANA has been creating the ideal space for professionals to share best practices, successes and struggles. With exhibits, networking, education, and fun packed into two socially distanced days —August 5-6, 2020—this reimagined Convention has never been more affordable. The exhibit hall is filling up with businesses finding innovative ways to connect with death care professionals and introduce them to the products and services that meet the daunting challenges of today. “With so many conventions and trade shows cancelled, many suppliers are seeking new avenues to reach out to the profession,” says Kim Price, CANA Supplier Liaison and Vice President of Memory Glass. “I’m excited about the virtual trade show as a dynamic solution for our members and my own business.” CANA has slashed booth prices to make the decision to try this new platform an easy one. Live networking and a fully optimized booth with unlimited staffing is just $399US. “When I show industry suppliers how much is included with registration, they’re eager to sign up!” said Denise Costello, CANA Exhibit Coordinator. A recent webinar introduced the capabilities of the virtual exhibit hall. A recording can be viewed on-demand here. Attendees also get big discounts on registration. And, since there’s no travel required for a virtual event, there’s never been a more convenient time to experience a CANA Convention. Through July 5, registration is $50 for CANA members, $75 for non-members, and just $25 for each additional employee. The event offers up to 4 CE hours—a real bargain for CANA’s high-quality content. More interactive than the average online webinar, CANA’s Virtual Convention will engage death care professionals with content, games and prizes, and networking events. The virtual stage will be packed with fantastic ideas from professionals across the industry. Featured presenters include Keynote Speaker Codi Shewan, Larry Stuart, Jr., moderating a panel of professionals—Sandra Walker (WA), Jon Rettig (OH), and Jim Koslovski (NJ)—plus Heather Braatz of Worsham College, Tom Krowl of Cremation Systems, psychologist Dr. Jason Troyer, and William Newman of Withum. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting and novel event this August 5-6! Learn more and register: goCANA.org/CANA20.
