FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Virtual Connections are Real at CANA’s Convention

Ready to share, learn, and laugh with your CANA pals?

It’s nearly time for our annual meeting, and that means you’re eager to catch up with your colleagues, stroll the trade show floor, and check in with your favorite exhibitors. This year, the Cremation Association of North America’s (CANA) 102nd Cremation Innovation Convention & Trade Show—always the best space for cremation professionals to connect—is virtual. And it’s still the ideal place to share.

CANA Conventions always put everyone in one room together. This year that room is a website. So how do you connect? Every page of the virtual Convention has a participant list so you can see who is in each session or who is sharing the exhibit booth with you. There’s public chat to initiate group discussions and share ideas. Keep the conversation going by starting a one-on-one conversation with anyone—speakers, booth reps, and colleagues from around the world. Connecting with colleagues makes CANA’s Convention more than a webinar—so reach out!

There’s no replacing a hug or a handshake, but video chat at CANA’s Virtual Convention is the next best thing. Through the Convention platform, you can open a video chat with one person and share the link to invite others. This ensures that the conversation flows, even without an open bar.

And there’s even more! CANA’s Virtual Convention features great content, games and prizes, and a full trade show. The virtual stage will be packed with fantastic ideas from professionals across the industry: Codi Shewan as Keynote; Larry Stuart, Jr. with a panel of professionals who discuss their COVID-19 challenges and solutions: Sandra Walker (WA), Jon Rettig (OH), and Jim Koslovski (NJ); Heather Braatz of Worsham College on offering cremation viewing options for families; Tom Krowl of Cremation Systems offers strategies for adding a crematory; psychologist Dr. Jason Troyer with self-care tips; and Matthew Ferrante of Withum addressing cyber security issues.

Time is running out to sign up and socialize safely with your colleagues at CANA's Virtual Convention and Trade Show! Join us for this exciting and novel event this August 5-6!
